IHG Mexico Appointment

Germán Ongay has been named Director of Sales and Franchise Development of International Hotel Group (IHG).

He started his Westin career in 1977 as a Room Clerk with Camino Real Guadalajara, continued with other Camino Reals, and went on as Reservations Manager of the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.

He served as General Manager of different hotels in Mexico, Vice President Operations of Milenium Hotels Group, as well of Quinta Real Hotels. Finally he occupied the position of C.E.O. of Optima Hotels.
