Forty-five years after the first Westin Hotel, The Westin Oaks, opened in Texas in 1970, the 13th Westin Hotel opened its doors in downtown Austin on July 16, 2015. The 19-story building has 366 rooms, 12,500 square feet of event space, and a rooftop pool, bar and grill affording 360 degree view of the city.
